Renee joined the MEC in 2009. Prior to that, she co-owned a professional recruiting firm, “Access Enterprises”, located in Tyson’s Corner, VA, where she placed hundreds of candidates in IT, legal, medical, sales and administrative positions. She created “Interviewing Smarts”, where Renee conducted seminars and guided managers through the process of finding top quality job applicants. In addition, she coached hundreds of candidates searching for new positions. She assisted with resume preparation, interviewing techniques and helped candidates as they transitioned into new careers.

As Manager of the MEC, Renee oversees the planning, staffing, and day to day management of the MEC. She serves as part of the MEC management team promoting a collaborative atmosphere in support of the goals and objectives of the MEC programs, Renee represents the MEC at all program development opportunities throughout Fauquier County. She provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by considering how actions or plans will affect clients. She responds with appropriate urgency, flexibility, courtesy and good judgment to meet customer needs and resolve problems.

Renee is an avid networker, and participates actively in many groups. She served for many years on the Board of the Vienna Tysons Chamber of Commerce and led as Chairman of the Board in 2005. Renee was awarded ”Business Person of the Year”, in 2007. She currently is a member of the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce, The Greater Warrenton Chamber of Commerce, The Haymarket Gainesville Business Association, and actively participates in several networking groups. Renee is a graduate of “Leadership Prince William, class of 2013.
